What We Believe

We believe:

  • In one God eternally existent in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God and is the sole basis for the doctrine and practice of the Christian church.
  • Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace and is received only through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, not by any of our works.
  • In water baptism by  immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for those who have publicly made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
  • That the universal Church is comprised of all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.
  • Christian works are an evidence of salvation, not a means of salvation.
  • In the giving of tithes and offerings for the support of the Church, and that they are a means by  which God blesses His people through the Biblical principal of “seedtime”  and “harvest.”
  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
  • In the present-day working of the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit.
  • That Sunday is the Christian day of worship.
  • In the sacrament of Holy Communion and the elements are symbols of the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • In divine healing for all in the atonement.
  • All that was lost in the first Adam was restored in the last Adam, Jesus Christ, through His finished work on the cross.
  • The Lord Jesus Christ will return to receive unto Himself a glorious Church.
  • In the resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust; the just to everlasting life, the unjust to everlasting separation from God.
